Autumn brings a patchwork of colors. Yellow, gold and reds spread across the mountains, lakes, and countryside. The foliage is spectacular, with warm days and crisp nights and the smell of wood burning in the fireplaces. Our autumn starts early, typically mid-September to late October.
Naturally, we offer the perfect setting for hunting base camps. Local game includes Moose, Deer, Bear, Grouse, Rabbit and Coyote. Many trophies are taken locally each year. The north country is well known for its large deer and moose populations.
