Lake Trout taken March, 2006...WOW!
While staying here at The Sportsman’s Lodge, you may enjoy some fine fishing
for Lake Trout as well as Rainbow and Brook Trout. As you can see from the pictures, the “lakers” can grow quite big.
Fishing for one of these big boys is a thrill that will last a lifetime. Quite often, fishermen fishing either Big Diamond or Little Diamond find themselves being covered by the local papers as another "big one" was caught.

The state's largest cusk was caught on Big Diamond Pond, one of two ponds next to Coleman State Park. There are two boat launches on each pond. Lake trout are found only on Big Diamond, which is open to ice fishing for both lake and rainbow trout. Ice-out is mid-May with good fishing all year.
